The members of Elite SPERG Commandos, to be referred to as ESC, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, to be referred to as NATO, hereby announce a new pact based on the spirit of friendship. This pact is designed to promote safety, growth and instill a deep-rooted feeling of trust between these great alliances.

Article 1: Defensive Agreement

NATO hereby recognizes ESC as a protectorate and will monitor all military actions by and against them.

1.1: Attacks made against ESC will be tried as if it were attacks against NATO and dealt swiftly and with dignity.

1.2: Attacks made by ESC against 3rd parties will be monitored to make sure treaties are followed.

Article 2: War

Should either alliance be declared war upon it will be considered a war against both alliances and full support will be administered without hesitation nor fail.

2.1: If ESC is declared upon and assistance is requested NATO will provide full support.

2.2: If NATO is attacked and assistance is requested ESC will provide full support.



Article 3: Fiscal Arrangement

NATO and ESC will cooperate economically to promote nation growth and prosperity.

3.1: NATO recognizes ESC as a sovereign alliance and allows them to deal tech and arrange their trades freely. Our reason for treaty is not to own and harvest from ESC but to help them grow, be the trades with or without us. We believe this mutual respect will create an atmosphere that will encourage members of both alliances to deal willingly with each other and limit the number of boundaries that are to be crossed in the nation building process. This great friendship will be the greatest benefit.

3.2: Members of both alliances may seek aid, if authorized, from either alliance so help promote nation growth and prosperity.

Article 4: Politics

ESC and NATO will, as all good friends do, meet first and discuss any important political matters before taking any significant actions unless it is imperative for the alliances' well-being to do so.

4.1: Any war declarations or treaty cancellations will be discussed between the alliances in an honest and respectful manner.

4.2: Military treaties made by ESC will be first discussed with NATO in order to sort out any issues either alliances have.

Article 5: Friendship

This partnership is aimed at sharing knowledge and resources to help one another grow.

5.1: Both alliances will respect each other's nations and their boundaries. Any conflicts, should any arise, will be resolved completely and discreetly

5.2: Both alliances will report any actions they are alerted to that may affect the other in a harmful manner.

5.3: Both alliances will continue to work together in a manner of mutual respect and maintain the goals set forth by the signers of this pact.

Article 6: Cancellation

If love is not love do not force it.

6.1: Should at any time leaders of either alliance find this pact no longer necessary or beneficial to their alliance they may terminate after 7 days time with confirmed notice.

A pact was written in the blood of nameless and loathsome beings and added to the Book of Azathoth. Cooperate these vile and feared pantheons of old had decided. Do not presume though that groups of this level of depravity do not also value their own sovereignty.

 
Article II: Like Minded Deities See Great Value in the Whisperings of Mortals and Others

Elder Gods and daemonic beings deal in information, blasphemous or otherwise. From their dark thrones and dank charnel houses, they collect and share such things. This is beyond the comprehension of mere mortal men, but understood with ease by those of the eldritch variety. Lesser beings would delve into madness and despair should they dare gaze upon the tomes and unutterable words within.

 

These manuscripts are best left to the eyes and ears of the two who invoke the aforementioned blood pact. It was meticulously written by them and the immense and hideous undertaking was for them and them alone.

Article III: Reptilian Claws. Swarthy Robes of Unknown Origin. Tentacles From the Abyss

There will be those who dare lash out at the members of this pact. As unthinkable as it may seem to dare to topple beings of such immeasurable and incomprehensible power, one would be foolish to underestimate the audacity that fear and dread creates. Should an aggressor choose a single party from this pact, assistance by the other would not be shunned and would in fact be encouraged.

 

Deities and other like-minded creatures from the beyond are the calculating sort though and should the non-aggrieved party decline to assist it would not be viewed as immoral, blasphemous, abnormal, or even faintly cruel. The Wingmen declare that they will act in the spirit of friendship and co-operation with the object of furthering the development and strengthening the relations between them, adhering to the principles of mutual respect for their independence and sovereignty, and of non-interference in their internal affairs.

 
Article II: Metal under tension

The Wingmen will hereafter refrain from all forms of hostile activity and aggression against each other, such as conspiring/committing espionage and the use of military force.

 
Article III: Beggin' you to touch and go

Should either of the Wingmen come upon intelligence which pertains to the safety or stability of the other, they are required to share this intelligence.

 
Article IV: Highway to the Danger Zone

The Wingmen are encouraged, but not obligated, to engage in financial transactions to their mutual benefit and to assist each other financially in times of need.

 
Article V: Ride into the Danger Zone

If one of the Wingmen comes under attack from a third party, they may ask the other Wingman for military aid. The other Wingman is obligated to provide military aid and assistance, but this mutual defense clause is non-chaining, in which case military aid and assistance is optional. If either Wingman intends to undertake an aggressive military action against a third party or parties, he shall communicate this information to the other Wingman promptly. The other Wingman is not obliged to provide military support under these circumstances, but may do so if he wishes.

 
Article VI: Headin' into twilight

Once ratified by the Wingmen, this pact shall have full effect. Should either of the Wingmen wish to cancel this pact, a 72-hour notification must be given before the pact can be considered null and void.

The undersigned alliances pledge to share any relevant information concerning their mutual security and interests, and recognise the importance of frequent communication.

The signatories commit to nominate 3 representatives to the Administration (the joint governing body), who will represent their respective alliance in any official discussion concerning this pact.

The signatories will have equal representation and voting powers in all matters concerning this treaty. Each signatory alliance will be entitled to 1 vote, submitted by the highest ranking representative in the Administration at the time of the vote. If a signatory fails to express its vote during the time limits, its vote will not be counted in any given motion.

Article IV: Us against them

In the event of a declaration of war against a signatory, all other signatories will consider themselves at war with the aggressor, and the defense of the attacked alliance will take priority above any external military commitment.

To issue an offensive declaration of war, a signatory may put forward a motion of war, followed by a vote over 72 hours. To be approved, a motion of war must gain a simple majority of votes: if the motion is approved, the declaration of war shall be considered a sanctioned action by every signatory. Once a decision is reached, a signatory may refrain from participating in a defensive or offensive conflict only with the consent of all other signatories.

Any plan for an offensive declaration of war shall be made known to the other signatories 3 days in advance. The signatories pledge to avoid offensive military or espionage actions against each others' allies, unless those allies are engaged in a conflict against a signatory or an ally of a signatory.

Prospective signatories may be considered and evaluated for inclusion in this pact upon official invitation from an undersigned alliance, subject to a vote over 72 hours. A unanimous vote by all signatories is necessary for a prospective signatory to be accepted.

A signatory may withdraw from this treaty by giving a 7 day notice to the other signatories. After withdrawing from the treaty a 7 day Non-Aggression Pact will be in place between the signatories and the withdrawing signatory.

A signatory may be expelled under the following conditions: following a motion of expulsion discussed over 72 hours, and subject to a vote lasting another 72 hours. To be approved, a unanimous vote is required by all signatories minus the signatory under scrutiny. Following the vote, a Non-Aggression Pact will be in place between the signatories and the expelled signatory for 7 days.

Article VI: It's you, not Us

The Foreign Division (TFD) and House Atreides (HA), two independent alliances on Planet Bob do hereby enter into this treaty of peace, respect, communication, and protection.

Article One: Sovereignty

Both TFD and House Atreides shall remain sovereign and independent in their internal and external affairs.

Article Two: Peace

No member of either signatory alliance shall attack or commit acts of espionage against a member of the other signatory alliance or assist an outside entity in doing so.

Article Three: Respect

The signatory alliances and their members will treat each other with as much respect and decency as they would show one of their own members. Healthy debate and discussion as well as constructive criticism are not restricted, but alliance members are expected to show tact and consideration by going through the proper channels when addressing a concern.

Article Four: Intelligence

Should either TFD or House Atreides come upon or gather intelligence that has a bearing on the affairs or security of the other signatory, that information must be made available to that other signatory within forty-eight hours.

Article Five: Financial Aid

Neither signatory is required to provide financial aid to the other signatory. However, should one signatory request financial aid, the other signatory is encouraged to consider granting the request.

Article Six: Foreign Policy

TFD and House Atreides agree to keep each other appraised of their foreign policy endeavors and The House agrees to not make any foreign policy moves such as treaties without at least 48 hours notice to TFD. If TFD does not approve of the foreign affairs move, The House is highly encouraged not to make it.

Article Seven: Military Policy

House Atreides shall be under the military protection of TFD for the duration of this treaty. An attack on The House shall be considered an attack on TFD and the government of TFD shall assist the government of The House with securing a satisfactory resolution to the conflict. Although it is not required to assist TFD militarily, should TFD formally request military assistance - whether it be aggressive or defensive - from House Atreides, The House is highly encouraged to grant the request. The House agrees to refrain from engaging in alliance wide warfare without prior consent from TFD. In return, TFD agrees to inform The House of any military action taken at least 24 hours before it is executed.

Article Eight: Cancellation and Expiration

This treaty may be revoked by the government of either signatory in the event of fundamentally changed circumstances that were never contemplated by the signatories. Notification of revocation must be given to the other signatory within forty-eight hours. Should this treaty be revoked by either signatory, a forty-eight hour grace period begins at the time of notification during which neither signatory may violate this treaty. This treaty shall expire should any of the following conditions come to occur: 1.) House Atreides reaches 50 members; or 2.) House Atreides reaches 1 million total nation strength. At the time of expiration, the parties shall decide whether to upgrade the protectorate or go their separate ways.

NATO/KoH Protectorate




Preamble:



In accordance with their pre-established friendship, the Kingdom of Hyrule (KoH) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) do hereby enter into this protectorate agreement.



Article I: Military Agreement



I.1 Any attack made against the Kingdom of Hyrule will be treated as an attack on NATO. Should NATO come under attack, the Kingdom of Hyrule may assist NATO, but is not required to do so.



I.2 In the event that NATO attacks a third party, the Kingdom of Hyrule may assist NATO, but is not required to do so.



Article II: Fiscal Agreement



II.1 NATO shall be given priority for all external KoH tech deals.



II.2 Members of both alliances may seek aid, if authorized, from either alliance so as to help promote nation growth and prosperity.



II.3 Members of both alliances are encouraged to work with one another when seeking trade circles and other trade agreements.



Article III: Politics



III.1 Any war declarations will be discussed between both alliances before they occur.



III.2 The Kingdom of Hyrule will not sign any treaties while under the protection of NATO unless such treaties are first approved by NATO.



Article IV: Friendship



IV.1 Both alliances will respect each other's nations and their boundaries. Any conflicts, should they arise, will be resolved completely and discreetly.



IV.2 Each alliance will report to the other any actions or events they are alerted to that may be detrimental to the other.



IV.3 Both alliances will continue to work together in a manner of mutual respect and maintain the goals set forth by this agreement.

NATO/KoH Protectorate




Preamble:



In accordance with their pre-established friendship, the Kingdom of Hyrule (KoH) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) do hereby enter into this protectorate agreement.



Article I: Military Agreement



I.1 Any attack made against the Kingdom of Hyrule will be treated as an attack on NATO. Should NATO come under attack, the Kingdom of Hyrule may assist NATO, but is not required to do so.



I.2 In the event that NATO attacks a third party, the Kingdom of Hyrule may assist NATO, but is not required to do so.



Article II: Fiscal Agreement



II.1 NATO shall be given priority for all external KoH tech deals.



II.2 Members of both alliances may seek aid, if authorized, from either alliance so as to help promote nation growth and prosperity.



II.3 Members of both alliances are encouraged to work with one another when seeking trade circles and other trade agreements.



Article III: Politics



III.1 Any war declarations will be discussed between both alliances before they occur.



III.2 The Kingdom of Hyrule will not sign any treaties while under the protection of NATO unless such treaties are first approved by NATO.



Article IV: Friendship



IV.1 Both alliances will respect each other's nations and their boundaries. Any conflicts, should they arise, will be resolved completely and discreetly.



IV.2 Each alliance will report to the other any actions or events they are alerted to that may be detrimental to the other.



IV.3 Both alliances will continue to work together in a manner of mutual respect and maintain the goals set forth by this agreement.



[b]Article V: Cancellation[/b]



V.1 While it is the hope that this agreement will reach fruition and be upgraded, it is understood that unforeseen circumstances do sometimes arise. Should at any time leaders of either alliance find this agreement no longer necessary or beneficial to their alliance they may terminate it after 5 days’ time with confirmed notice.

A declaration of war or hostile act against either signatory will be considered an act of aggression directed towards both NATO and R&R. In such an event, each signatory is required to provide all diplomatic, economic and military assistance requested by the other. Each signatory also has the option, but not the obligation, of joining the other in any offensive military action.

In the event that either NATO or R&R enter a conflict on the behalf of a third party, any military assistance provided by the other signatory is considered optional.

PREAMBLE

All parties involved in this treaty are to remain sovereign and shall not be governed by the other party. They shall remain separate unless stated in another treaty. This treaty acts to bind the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the New Pacific Order in a state of mutual defense, recognizing our alliances friendship and commitment to one another.

ARTICLE 1: NON-AGGRESSION

Both signatories agree not to attack, or commit and actions of espionage on the other party. Such actions are regarded as a breach of this treaty. If either alliance bound to this pact conducts espionage on a non-signing alliance, it is grounds for revocation, but such action may or may not be taken by the other party’s leaders.

ARTICLE 2: INTELLIGENCE

Both signatories agree to share all relevant information of worth. It is agreed that this information shall not be falsified, or changed in any way, to mislead the other party. Such falsifications shall be regarded as a breach of the treaty.

ARTICLE 3: MUTUAL DEFENSE AND OPTIONAL AGGRESSION

Any declaration of war upon a member of either signatory is considered an act of aggression to both signatories. Both signatories agree that should the other come under attack, it is mandatory that all available aid, be it military, financial or diplomatic, will be made available should it be requested. Each signatory also has the option of joining a war declared by the other signatory, either aggressively or via activation of a clause from another treaty. In the event either party declares war, either aggressively or via activation of a clause from another treaty, and therefore requests the other signatory's assistance after coming under attack, the mandatory defense is then considered optional defense. This treaty is exclusively between NATO and NPO and as such will not automatically activate or be activated by any other treaties either signatory may have.

ARTICLE 4: AID

Both signatories shall agree that they will endeavor to contribute financial aid to the other party. Such aid must be within the limits of reality, and not without reason. Such requests for financial aid shall be placed in the other party's embassy and the leader shall have to acknowledge the aid request. An acceptable reason must be stated, or the requested aid will not be given. Also, aid requests may be rejected, though the other party must have a valid reason. Any aid requests made under false pretense shall be viewed as a breach of this treaty.

ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATION

To cancel this treaty any time, one party must post a thread on the other party's forums, or contact a leader directly and get acknowledgment from the other party. Following cancellation, a 48 hour grace period shall begin, during which neither party may breach any of the above listed terms.[/b]

If either signatory receives information concerning a threat to the other or their allies, the receiving alliance will notify the other signatory as soon as possible and provide the relevant information, keeping the source hidden if chosen.

In the interest of security, should either signatory find itself in conflict, either by choice or persecution, the other may be called upon to join in arms or help via alternative means. This agreement does not necessarily apply to any engagements not principally undertaken or advanced upon by either signatory.
